Sticky Buns

One of my favorite and the best food in the world is gooey, sticky, nutty buns. I have to say this recipe a friend gave me is the best and so easy. I used to make a version of sticky buns from scratch when I worked at Bothways Cafe, but this recipe out shines all versions.

Emily's Visit

My dear cousin came for a visit for the holidays and stayed with me which gave me some reasons to cook every day. She loves food too and eats a lot but somehow remains super thin!

Here are some breakfast and baked goodies I made for her. Starting from the top: Peppermint cheesecake, sticky buns with cranberries & herb potatoes, pecan blue cheese crackers, spinach & swiss eggs breakfast. Last photo is of Emily enjoying french pressed coffee from Zoka.

Hi Friends! I've set up this blog so you can join me for a food journey for the upcoming year. As you know by now, I am in love with food! :) This is my passion and I love great food! I try to get involve with food in many different ways. I eat every day! I have dinner parties (more so in 2009), cook for homeless at least 2 times a month, work with catering co on weekends, and cook for friends. I'd like record all my food experiences good or bad. Recommend good reads whether it's books, articles, blogs, or mags, and even restaurants. I'll have good pics too. I plan to carry my camera with me alwasys. I'll be that annoying person who makes everyone wait from eating so I can take pic first. I hope you will enjoy this as much as I anticipate taking this jouney. Feel free to chime on the site.
