Orange Marmalade Almond Cake

Oooooooooh...My dear friend's new restaurant A La Bonne Franquette has a lovely new cake on the menu.  It's an Almond Cake with Orange Marmalade that has been soaked in Grand Marnier.  Wow...sooo good!

It's not like a traditional, cakey, bready, texture. It's more substantial because of the almond meal, yet very moist and not too sweet.  They top it with orange segments and almond slices that give a nice texture and freshness of the fruit.  Yum!  Go check it out!
